Time & Location
About the Event
Come out and enjoy a nice moonlight snowshoe and camp fire on March 6th at 7:00pm. The group will meet in the Parking Lot of Keyboard Liquor in Chisholm and drive up to the parking area on County Road 65. The hike will be 1.8 miles one way to the shelter, so around 4 miles total. We will stop at the shelter to enjoy a fire, warm drinks, and to socialize. Feel free to bring something to cook on the fire!! Here is link with directions and trail information https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5194350.pdf This is not a full moon but we will have 90% Illumination which makes for a well lit hike. The moon rises at around just after 2pm and should be high in the sky by the time we start our hike.
