Time & Location
About the Event
Come out for a moonlight challenge snowshoe/hike on January 11th at 6pm. This is an 8 mile round trip to the Shelter and back. We will make warm beverages at the shelter with a camp stove too, so bring a cup. It is a "No Drop" hike, meaning that nobody will be left behind, however this could be a difficult journey through the snow. The hike will have uphill walking, and the pace will be determined by the group. The Lookout Mountain/Laurentian Divide Trail system starts approximately 4 miles north of Virginia, MN. We will meet at 6pm. https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5194346.pdf
